I Give Up

I just couldn’t handle it anymore – so I finally gave up trying to read Surrender Bay.  I was in the middle of the book and the heroine still hadn’t grown up and the hero still didn’t have a spine.

Now, I’ve moved on to Seaside Letters.  Except for the blurb made the book out to be something else – or I believed it would be something else.  Oh well – I’m still reading it.  So far, so good.  Except the conflict that was promised in the blurb was over within the first few pages.  I’m still holding a bit of a grudge about that.

  1. Nath ~ I would say contemporary romance – the author is a Christan writer, but that doesn't seem to be the focus of the book. I'm close to half-way done now and am really enjoying it.
