Can you believe it’s snowing outside?! SNOWING!!! I’m so not ready. We usually don’t get our first snow until around Halloween. I don’t even have my storm windows up yet…more due to my own laziness than anything. I knew I should have put them up last weekend. I’m such a dummy sometimes.
I finished Montana Sky and will post my thoughts on it when I get home.
Snow??? And here I’m complaining because today is supposed to get up into the high 70’s. I’d like colder weather, but I’m not quite ready for snow.>>BTW – I have an aunt and uncle who live in Townsend. We went camping in Livingston a few years ago and it was breathtaking. Beautiful state you have there!>>Jen

Jen ~ I’m about 3 hours from Towsend. On an aside, I love to take the route that goes by there because there’s an old abandoned schoolhouse there. It’s two stories and every time I drive by I want to stop and look around. I probably would if it wasn’t on private property and if I wasn’t afraid of rattlesnakes.>>Zeek ~ 80?! Too hot for me. My perfect day is going to be between 45 and 50 degrees with a light breeze. Which is exactly what it was when I was too lazy to put my storm windows on. Luckily, the snow didn’t stick and is done now (I hope).

It’s about 82 here right now, but I think it’s supposed to get up to the high 80’s. I love the heat…and HATE snow. LOL

Zeek ~ Up here, depending which weather station you watch (or whose husband you listen to) it’s either supposed to be either a rough winter for us or a very mild one. It only snowed maybe a total of 5 times last winter, which is probably why we had the hellish summer of fires this year.>>Holly ~ I’m just the opposite ~ I hate the heat. I’d love the snow if I didn’t have to drive in it.

I don’t want it to snow everyday out here, but just once…just once, I’d like to see snow around these parts, but meh since I know it’s not coming, I’ll just have to visit my sister in Colorado to get my snow fix! =)

It’s supposed to snow here tomorrow. I’m somewhat excited. But remember, those first snows don’t stick.>>Can’t wait for your thoughts on Montana Sky-I really enjoyed it. It stood up to my reread test. LOL

Dylan ~ When I lived in SoCal (I was a nanny), I remember it snowed 1/2 an inch one time. They closed down everything ~ the interstates, the schools ~ everything! I just had to laugh because 1/2 inch was small potatoes compared to what I was used.>>Ames ~ I loved Montana Sky ~ every single page. I’ll post on it sometime tonight. I think it’s done snowing for the time being ~ although the sky is still pretty gray. Here’s a clue how oblivious I am to my surroundings ~ I didn’t even realize it WAS snowing until I looked at the weatherpixie on my blog. Sheesh ~ I sit right next to a window.

I like the cold. I like to look at snow, like to play in it for about an hour. To live in snow, oh hell no.

Snow – *shudder* Way to early for that yet. And isn’t Montana Sky one of the NR book they are making into a TV movie? Seems I read that somewhere.

OMG! Devonna, I can’t imagine what would happen here if it snowed. It would cause wide spread panic! lol It’s funny, because even when it rains people freak out. And I think to myself, “y’all are idiots! It’s only rain!” Sheesh! LOL

I grew up in SoCal (Redondo Beach) and I remember it “snowing” once. It wasn’t really snow. It was more like sleet. Yuck!>>Would you believe I’ve never read a Nora Roberts book? But get this. My husband has! lol He’s quite a fan. I think he read and liked Montana Sky.>>Jen

Isabel ~ I love the snow, hate driving in it.>>Ames ~ Well at least I’m in good company.>>Kristie ~ Yes it is. I wanted to read it before I saw the movie.>>Holly ~ Exactly! The people I nannied for were used to the snow also. We all got a laugh at that one ~ although technically I get it. Snow isn’t a common thing in SoCal, but when you’re used towhat comes down being measured in feet, 1/2 inch was pretty comical to us.>>Jen ~ Sleet is big yuck. I hate it and it’s horrible to drive in. Well, if you read a NR book ~ read this one. I need to go buy it now. So, is your hubby a big NR fan?

Cindy ~ If you crank up the heat on your pool, how fast can you run from the house to get there? 🙂
